One netizen pointed out that NewJeans is still holding strong on major platforms, writing, “Regardless of public perception, their songs must have been genuinely good… They’re still ranked 4th on Spotify’s K-pop Artist chart (the only girl group in the top 5), and they’re even in the top 10 for YouTube streaming. NewJeans, along with ILLIT, are idols whose B-sides people continue to listen to without skipping.”
