Subject: Request for Correction of Exclusive Contract Violations
We wish ADOR continued success. Through this letter, we, the members of ADOR group, NewJeans—Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein (hereinafter referred to as ‘NewJeans’)—express our views and request that ADOR correct the violations of our exclusive contract as outlined below. Please correct all significant violations of the exclusive contract within 14 days of receipt of this letter (Article 15, Section 1 of the exclusive contract).
Below is a summary of the main issues regarding ADOR’s violations of the exclusive contract:
A. In response to HYBE’s decision that “New can be discarded, and a fresh start made,” we ask ADOR, as NewJeans’ management company, to take all necessary measures. During a recent National Assembly audit, it was confirmed that a phrase in HYBE’s internal Music Industry Reported stated, “We struggled with the ‘New-A-Reu’ (NewJeans, IVE, LE SSERAFIM) wording for days, but starting fresh without ‘New’ would be ideal.
