Recently pre-recording ‘Gayo Daejejeon’. This function was memorable. She mentions she is thanking them for sitting through long hours of waiting in frigid cold weather. This latest move by the team to cancel their contracts with ADOR has been the news of the day. Recently, during an emergency conference, NewJeans divulged that they were never satisfied with the failure on the part of ADOR to deliver their demands; they had breaches of duties as the main reasons cited for their split. Above all, they clarified that such a move was not by any fault of theirs.
The group, however, responded to the situation by announcing that ADOR had filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court to enforce the contracts signed with them. The agency regretted the situation, saying legal action was taken after thorough consideration.
NewJeans, meanwhile, established the account @jeanzforfree on December 14, 2024 as their official communication. ADOR disputes this though arguing that this was set up without any involvement from them. Subsequent third-party advertisers had further issues with postings and contents of the new account as well.
The NewJeans versus ADOR dispute continues as fans await a better result on this issue.
