Members Min-ji and Daniel attended the court on behalf of the group Newzins and the agency Adore, with the adjustment date for the validity of the exclusive contract.
The Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Department 41 (Chief Judge Chung Hoe-il) held a settlement date at 2 p.m. on the 14th to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract filed by Adore against the five members of Newgens.
Prior to the adjustment date, New Jeans members Minji and Daniel appeared as representatives. Previously, the court demanded the attendance of the New Jeans members.
With several reporters gathered, the two headed into the building to attend the mediation without expressing any particular position.

Newzins and Adore have been sharply at odds since the beginning of the exclusive contract dispute. Odor insists that “there is no reason to terminate the exclusive contract,” while Newzins maintains that “the trust relationship is broken or the exclusive contract cannot be continued.”
Members Min-ji and Daniel are scheduled to attend and deliver their positions on the adjustment date, and attention is being paid to what the results will be.
The court plans to issue a sentence on October 30 if the mediation to be held on the same day breaks down.
