On May 19, R&B co-ed duo Emotional Oranges shared a photo with NewJeans’ Danielle on their official international account.
They included their own orange emoji alongside NewJeans’ bunny emoji to signal a collaboration and wrote, “Please wait a little longer. Coming soon,” hinting at Danielle’s upcoming solo release.
However, the post was later deleted. Even some fans who had welcomed the news of Danielle’s solo comeback expressed confusion over the sudden removal.
Korean netizens gathered their attention to this latest social media update since NewJeans are currently on hiatus following their declaration not to return to their agency ADOR. Korean netizens gathered in a popular online community to give their take on this matter and commented:
