Group Newzins will be the first K-pop girl group to perform on the stage of “COUNTDOWN JAPAN 24/25.”
According to the agency ADOR (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Harin, and Hyein) on the 6th, Newzins (Minji, Hani, Haerin) was listed in the lineup of “Countdown Japan 24/25” to be held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan from December 28 to 31. On the 31st, the last day, Newzins will be on the biggest stage to heat up the atmosphere on the spot.
Countdown Japan is the largest indoor festival at the end of the year in Japan, which began in 2003, and as of last year, a total of more than 130,000 audiences visited the festival. With top Japanese artists appearing every year, Creepy Nuts, Vaundy, MAN WITH A MISSION, and Stones are also included in the lineup this year, drawing attention.
Newzins made his official Japanese debut this year and performed brilliantly. Their Japanese debut single “Supernatural,” released in June, became a million seller, and the title song “Supernatural” of the same name hit the top of major local music charts as soon as it was released. Although “Supernatural” and the track “Right Now” are Japanese singles, they unusually settled at the top of major domestic music charts, confirming their Newzins power.
Newzins also marked a milestone of entering the Tokyo Dome in Japan for the shortest period of one year and 11 months among foreign artists. They sold out all tickets for the Tokyo Dome fan meeting “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome” held for two days from June 26-27, attracting a total of 91,200 spectators. The Tokyo Dome stage has been constantly talked about for a while, receiving enthusiastic responses from local fans, and has sparked a craze for newzins beyond objective indicators.
Meanwhile, Newzins will appear on Nippon TV’s “with MUSIC” on the 9th.
