Newjeans claims that they faced mistreatment at the hands of ADOR and HYBE staff and executives, including workplace harassment, bullying, and creative suppression, especially after HYBE accused former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin of leaking sensitive internal company documents. Min Hee-jin has been cleared of all charges by the Korean court. However, following HYBE’s actions, the company is now under investigation by state police. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk has been charged with fraudulent trading related to HYBE’s inflated revenue.
Newjeans’ ongoing legal battle with ADOR is expected to conclude soon, with the main trial to be set on 30th October.
