Min-ji, including Daniel, a member of the group Newzins, who has recently shown his running status, has returned to his main job. The singer’s position is correct, but not on the stage, but in court.
On the 14th, the Civil Agreement Department 41 of the Seoul Central District Court held the first mediation date for the validity of the exclusive contract filed by Adore against the members for about an hour and 20 minutes from 2 p.m. At the request of the court, New Jeans members Minji and Daniel attended the court to express their position.
As it is an adjustment date, the two sides met at a crossroads to reach an agreement, but eventually failed to reach a conclusion and delayed the decision to the second adjustment date on the 11th of next month. However, the possibility of an agreement still seems to remain in that it is not a non-adjustment.
Earlier, Newzins held an emergency press conference in November last year and declared the termination of the exclusive contract to Adore on the grounds that the trust relationship was broken. Since then, he has launched his own activities by announcing the new activity name ‘NJZ’.
In response, Adore filed an injunction against Newzins members, including a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, preservation of the agency’s status, and signing an advertising contract. The court accepted and cited the application for provisional injunction, effectively halting Newzins’ independent activities as a result.

In the meantime, member Daniel has been the only one who has been communicating with his fans by telling them what he’s been up to. He shared bright daily news by showing him enjoying running with singer Sean and actor Park Bo-gum.
Daniel, who appeared in court on the day, smiled. In front of Chuchaejin with Min-ji, he did not answer the question, but he kept smiling and took a somewhat relaxed look.
Newzins, who debuted on July 22, 2022, recently celebrated their third anniversary, but they did not even celebrate their anniversary, let alone their activities. Attention is focusing on how the direction of New Jeans, which has passed its debut anniversary for two consecutive years since last year due to disputes with the agency, will end.
Audor wants the members to return, but the members reject it. According to Odor, communication with the members took place in a long time through the court. The key is how much the gap between the two sides can be narrowed through the adjustment date in the future. It is certainly an important crossroads for members who are thirsty for activities.
