NewJeans celebrated their 3rd anniversary since their debut on July 22.
Debuting on July 22, 2022, NewJeans made a powerful impact in the K-pop industry, gaining explosive popularity as soon as they debuted. The group received love internationally and domestically with hit tracks including “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” ‘Ditto,” “ETA,” “Super Shy,” “OMG,” and more.
To celebrate their anniversary, ADOR marked July 22 as ‘NewJeans Day’ and streamed various NewJeans content live on their official YouTube channel. Not only that, the label also released previously unseen photos of the group on their social media X account a few days before the debut anniversary day.

However, the significance of this third anniversary has been somewhat overshadowed by the ongoing legal dispute between NewJeans and ADOR.
In November of last year, the members of NewJeans claimed that their exclusive contracts with ADOR, a label under HYBE, had been terminated, and began seeking independent activities.

The court accepted ADOR’s injunction request, which means that NewJeans is currently unable to carry out independent entertainment activities until a final legal judgment is made.
As a result, NewJeans has halted all official group activities since FLEXCON in Hong Kong, and despite reaching their 3rd debut anniversary, they are unable to hold any special events or comeback promotions with fans.
