On April 16, the members of NewJeans marked their 1,000th day since their debut.
Since announcing a temporary suspension of group activities at ComplexCon in Hong Kong on March 23, the members have been spending time traveling, visiting birthday cafés, and sharing updates through their social media account created during their independent activities as NJZ.
The members posted various photos with messages from each member. One member shared, “Bunnies! It’s been 1000 days since we met~! The 1000 days with Bunnies have been filled with happiness! Every day together is another adventure! Love you x 1000.” Another member wrote, “I can’t believe it’s already been 1000 days since we met! Every moment together has been fun, special, happy, and precious. I hope we can continue to stay together in the future,” and “Happy 1000 days to Bunnies, the members, and everyone! Thank you so much. Your continued support really gives me strength. Just like when I took this photo, I hope Bunnies can sometimes clear their minds and take in peaceful, beautiful scenery. Thank you, Bunnies!”

In particular, another member shared her candid feelings and said, “I feel a little sorry for spending time without much news, but I’ve been recharging myself during this period (it might seem selfish), so I can confidently promise to greet you all brighter and happier later.” She continued, “As I always say, our Bunnies are truly rare and precious people in this world. I’m so thankful that you stay by our side despite this difficult situation. Although we’ve lost some time together, I hope you’ll look forward to the future, because we’ll fill it with even better memories. That’s how I feel.”
While the NewJeans members used their 1000-day anniversary as an opportunity to unite and uplift their fanbase amid the ongoing legal turmoil, articles were published stating that they suffered another setback in court. The Seoul Central District Court’s 50th Civil Division dismissed the injunction request filed by the five members of NewJeans.
