On April 11 KST, NewJeans member Danielle sent a heartfelt letter to her fans, thanking them for the birthday wishes on her 20th birthday (today).
The NewJeans member shared the following message on the group’s private Instagram account, @mhdhh_friends, saying,
“I got all your letters!!
I was so touched~∞@ You made me cry TT.
Every single letter is special, and I’m making sure to read through them all everyday.
Every letter feels so heartfelt and meaningful.
Thank you so so much!!
How can I not cry when every word of comfort, encouragement, and love resonates deep in my heart TT.
Sometimes, I fear that I don’t deserve all of this love! So I want to become a person who can make Bunnies proud. We may be going through tough times right now, but I gain strength when I interact with Bunnies. I want to talk with you guys so bad.
For now, your letters are the greatest source of strength. When I read them, I imagine you writing down each letter….. and it feels like you’re right in front of me, saying those words to me.
It’s crazy because sometimes it feels like you know me better than I know myself!
You all know that I don’t know myself too well, and I have a hard time realizing what I’m feeling at times.
These days, I’m trying to be more honest about my feelings. So when I read your letters, my heart feels full and I can look into it more openly. Thank you Bunnies. My beloved Bunnies.. I know you’re worried about us, but as for us, if we just think about the days ahead when we can see our Bunnies again, this is nothing at all!
The songs that Bunnies love. The songs that will make Bunnies happy. And the moment when we can be together and happy again. It will all come in time!
So don’t worry because I’m eating well, I’m listening to good music, and I’m doing well each day, spending time with my family and the members. And of course, thinking about Bunnies!

Meanwhile, NewJeans continue to face a series of legal disputes and court battles against their agency, ADOR, over the validity of their exclusive contracts. For the duration of the legal disputes, the court has ordered NewJeans to refrain from any independent activities outside of their label.
