During a roundtable interview on February 4 at Warner Music Korea in Gangnam, Seoul, Olivia Marsh, a singer-songwriter known as Danielle (NewJeans)’s older sister, discussed her new EP “Meanwhile.”
When asked about Danielle‘s current activities, Olivia simply said, “As family, I am always supporting her. I can’t share more details.”

However, she revealed that Danielle gave her a lot of advice before her debut. She said, “Danielle has a lot of experience, so she gave me many tips. I used to feel awkward in front of the camera, but Danielle advised me on poses and encouraged me to enjoy my emotions and activities.”
Olivia also mentioned that she and Danielle share similar tastes in music, and Danielle particularly liked the song “42,” which holds childhood memories for both of them.

Olivia’s first EP “Meanwhile” was released on February 13, featuring two title tracks, “STRATEGY” and “BACKSEAT,” along with three other songs. “STRATEGY” is a song that compares the actions between two people in a relationship to strategies, set to a fast-paced beat.
