On Nov 29th, NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein departed via Gimpo International Airport for the “Countdown Japan 24/25” event in Tokyo, Japan.
Wearing sunglasses, masks and hats, the members appeared at the airport with somewhat gloomy expressions, noticeably different from their usual lively demeanor. After stepping out of their vehicle, they bowed politely in greeting but made no special remarks before proceeding to the departure area.
Meanwhile, on Nov 28th, NewJeans held an emergency press conference at the Galaxy Hall in the SpaceShare Samseong Station Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where they announced their decision to terminate their exclusive contract with ADOR as of midnight on Nov 29th.
