On November 14th, media outlet Channel A obtained the certified mail that NewJeans sent to ADOR and made public the demands. According to the report, NewJeans made a total of 6 demands, asking ADOR to correct its violations.
Particular, NewJeans stated that in HYBE’s Music Industry Report (internal monitoring document) recently confirmed in the National Assembly audit, there was a phrase, “We’ve been struggling with the wording around New-I-LE (NewJeans, ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM) for days, but it would be easier to discard New and start fresh.’”
As a result, they asked ADOR to “take all necessary actions as the management company of NewJeans regarding HYBE decision to abandon NewJeans”.
The girl group then pointed out that “ADOR has not taken any action yet regarding the manager of another label who told Hanni to ‘ignore’ her and has neglected the issue.”
Hanni had previously claimed that an idol manager from another label within HYBE had told their artists to ignore her. Later, while attending the national assembly audit, Hanni shed tears and said, “If we respect each other as human beings, at least there won’t be bullying and ostracism in the workplace. Those who should be sorry should come forward confidently if they have nothing to hide, but they keep avoiding these situations. It’s so frustrating.”
In addition, NewJeans requested, ADOR to take action against HYBE PR for disparaging NewJeans’ achievements and investigate the fact that photos and videos from when NewJeans was a trainee were released without permission.

Moreover, the girl group urged ADOR to immediately resolve the unnecessary dispute with Director Shin Woo-seok and the issue of New Jeans’ existing work disappearing.
Meanwhile, back on November 13th, NewJeans sent the aforementioned letter to their agency ADOR, stating, “If all the violations I mentioned are not corrected within 14 days of receiving this letter, there will be no way to restore the broken trust, and we will ultimately have no choice but to terminate your exclusive contract.”
This escalation marks a critical turning point in the “ADOR situation”, which began last April with an audit targeting former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and others, now potentially leading to a contract dispute.
According to the music industry, NewJeans, under their real names — Kim Min-ji, Hanni Pham, Danielle June Marsh, Kang Hae-rin and Lee Hye-in — sent this formal notice.

The five members personally signed the last page of this formal notice.
They added, “If anyone spreads false rumors to defame NewJeans, we will respond firmly.”
Meanwhile, ADOR has since responded to NewJeans’ letter and express hope to resolve and continue working together.
