Min Hee-jin Addresses Feud With HYBE, Teases NewJeans Song And Makes THIS Claim About HYBE’s Slogan At Special Event

Min Hee-jin on feud with HYBE, NewJeans and more
On September 27, Min Hee-jin held a special session, The Producer Who Breaks the Formula of K-Pop: Min Hee-Jin’s Freestyle. During the session, the former ADOR CEO addressed her ongoing feud with HYBE. “The legal fees have amounted to 2.3 billion won. They’re filing these pointless lawsuits to either prevent me from responding or to bankrupt me if I do. I may have to sell my house because of the lawsuits,” she stated, before adding, “I want to punch and kick them, but without money, I can’t fight back.”
Min Hee-jin further stated that she’s standing up to HYBE as she doesn’t want people with money to win easily. “I want to prevent these kinds of fights from happening in the future. Someone has to take the hits and endure so that the process becomes clear. If something feels unjust, we need to push for new laws. I’m standing my ground so that people with money can’t always win,” she said.
Additionally, the former ADOR CEO claimed that she had created SM Entertainment’s logo and HYBE’s iconic ‘We Believe in Music’ slogan. “I put my hopes and soul into how I envisioned the company could be,” she shared, before adding, “I thought it would be great to combine art and business in a perfect way, but no one seemed to be doing that. I wanted to try.”
Min Hee-jin also surprised attendees by revealing an unreleased demo track for NewJeans. After teasing a bit of the retro city pop song, the ADOR director shared that the demo had been produced by South Korean producer FRNK. Take a look:

On April 22, HYBE initiated an audit against CEO Min Hee-jin. The parent company accused ADOR’s team of devising a plan to takeover the sub-label, leaking sensitive information to external entities and attempts to tarnish the reputation of HYBE and its artists.
